Oh my gosh. We could not be more honored or excited by this incredible academic work. Four students from lovely Lebanon Valley College are working on their DPT, Doctorate of Physical Therapy, by researching the affects of climbing on 10-12 kids with autism. After a couple of meetings, including yesterday, we have hammered-out the task-based process by which they will quantify the results spanning 4 climbing sessions at the Climbnasium in April. Above limits is sponsoring and facilitating the research for these bright-eyed, super curious men and women. And while Mark and I do not have our doctorate, helping these students and faculty in their thesis research is the next best thing. Its even better because its scaled; maybe more to come. What else could we ask for? Thanks Universe. Physical therapy at climbing gyms is becoming a real thing. See!
